Letters to a Young Poet by Rainer Maria Rilke
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
"Letter to a Young Poet"
Letter to a Young Poet is composed of 10 letters written to Franz Xaver Kappus by Rainer Maria Rilke. Because Franz admired his work, he sought advice from Rainer Maria so he wrote letters to him. As an answer, Rainer Maria wrote letters in return to Franz advising aspects to ponder upon. Not particularly about the writing of Franz but of general things.
However, you might find some of it difficult to grasp as you would think what's the idea being told here because it comprises only Rainer's letters to Franz but not Franz's letters to Rainer. So it contains only one side perspective and you have to grasp the idea of Franz's letters.
This book is interesting in terms it giving younger aspirants of poetry a beautiful insight about their work.
It's lovely as it tells you why SOLITUDE is an important characteristic of human nature.
Thank You...
