How to Win Friends & Influence People by Dale Carnegie
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

One of my favorite books is How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie. Why is this one so close to my heart? It's simple. You can connect with it right from the beginning. It’s accessible for beginners—whether you’re new to reading or just looking for a book with straightforward language, this one is perfect.

So, does this book have any drawbacks? Not really, but... I say "but" because you may find it a bit challenging to grasp the first few chapters; after that, though, it flows smoothly.

The main lesson I’ve taken from this book is that to make people understand you, you have to understand them first. Be the one who initiates understanding.

Highly recommended!

It’s okay to let it out. You’re safe here — with yourself, your thoughts, and your truth. As a man myself, I understand that society has presented men as someone who must be strong — both physically and mentally. We are seen as people who, when we cry, somehow become weak. A few years back, when I was in secondary school, I used to get bullied a lot — and I don’t mean only mentally. I used to cry a lot. My days were miserable. I didn’t have the courage to fight or even say no. I was dependent on my friends, and they were supportive, but living like that wouldn’t change anything.
