Book Review: The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank
The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
My views on "Diary Of A Young Girl" by "Anne Frank".
Genre: Historical/WW-II/Holocaust
Let me tell you a little background of this book:
During World War II, people were being sent to concentration camps, primarily Jewish.
Anne Frank's family was Jewish.
Her Father thought of making a decision as soon as possible to hide somewhere as they were in danger.
He thought of his office's attic.
They went there with a few other members as well.
Where Anne started writing this diary to have some activity.
She continued writing her diary with consistency. She also has written some letters before hiding.
Anne shared about her life.
Anne's letters are mainly thoughts, talking about the future, the past life, and the relationship with other members in the attic and with her family.
I love the way that She addressed all of her letters to "Kitty" who is an imaginary friend of Anne.
You may encounter some letters that are repetitive in some way.
But the rest are easy and grasping.
In conclusion, If you think that this book will give you info about Holocaust events I don't you should select this book
but
If you want to get insights into the conditions of People who went hiding, from what they went through or what people face issues when they hide from some forces, this would be the best choice for you.
However, be prepared for a sorrowful ending.
Until next time.....!
