"Accepting the inevitable imperfections of our values is necessary for any growth to take place."
Mark Manson's book The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck is a self-help and personal development book which helps one to be okay with their imperfections and be confident.
Now, how has he done that?
Well, in his book, he talks about which things one has to give a f*ck. He teaches us why you don't have to think about what other people think about you or even laugh at you. If some are laughing at you, let them laugh. He explained why you have to accept your imperfections dear and go on to work your best on other parts of your life. If you don't, you won't continue to step up.
And why is that so?
Because these imperfections will hold us back and by imperfections I mean low confidence, shyness, awkwardness, uneven skin tone or textures(If one thinks about oneself) or Inability to excel in certain subjects or tasks.
However, this book might make you a bit uncomfortable at first and you might find the author's writing bizarre because he has written it in a very straight and unconventional way. He has written in a direct tone like you are conversing with one of your friends.
For me, this book has become a personal favourite due to its impactful influence. I recommend it especially to those struggling with shyness, social anxiety, or a lack of confidence.
One must give this book a try if a person is shy, has some kind of social anxiety or lacks confidence. This will be a great read for ya.
(Bas likhne ka tarika thoda CASUAL hai...)
